Knoxville Wrestler Lane Coldwell will wrestle his first match at the state meet today. His first round opponent is Matt Fontana of Ankeny. Coach Eric Whitcome says whatever happens this afternoon the fact that Coldwell got to state when not a lot of people thought any Panther wrestler would get to state is quite an accomplishment. Whitcome says overall the entire team improved tenfold and has high hopes to next season. Coldwell will wrestle his first match at around one this afternoon. Today is also the big day for Little Dutch Wrestler A-J Arrendell. Arrendell advanced to the state tournament in class three-A wrestling. He was the only wrestler from Pella to advance. We will have updates all afternoon on KNIA/KRLS.
