Pella knocked off Clear Creek Amana in the first round of the girls regional basketball tournament last night60-to-39. The Lady Dutch led just 22/21 after a sluggish first halfbut Mike Vints club outscored the Clippers 38-18 in the second half. Vint said it was probably good to have a game like this. Brooke Gritters led the way for Pella with 16 points and 11 reboundsand Kellie Korver and Isabel Metcalf each added a dozen points. The Lady Dutch out-rebounded the Clippers 49-to-20 as they improved to 21-and-one on the season. They will travel to Williamsburg on Saturday to battle Benton in the regional semifinals.
