PCM Pass By I-35

The beat goes on for the P-C-M boys as they got by I-35 last night 56-to-48 in the semifinal round of the Class two-A district tournament last night at home. After being held to a total of 19 points in their win over Pleasantvilleleading scorers Scott Bruxvoort and Josh Fosenburg exploded for a combined for 42 of the Mustangs 56 pointsand manhandled the Roadrunners down low. Bruxvoort carried the Mustangs through the first three quartersbefore Fosenburg caught fire from three in the final quarter with three 3-pointers. The Roadrunners did get within four with just under a minute leftbut Fosenburg was solid from the line to pull out the win. The Mustangs will face Des Moines Christian next Tuesday in a game that will be played at Pleasantville for the district championship.
