It took about a quarterbut the P-C-M girls got on track in plenty of time to punch their ticket into the semifinals of the Class two-A regionals with a 48-to-34 win over Des Moines Christian. The Mustangs found themselves down nine/eight after the first quarterbut outscored the Lions 17/six in the second half to propel them to the 14 point win. The Lions did get to within seven with three minutes left to make things interestingbut the Mustangs hit some clutch shots and sunk their free throws to put the game away. The Mustangs were led by Katlyn Wood and Shelby Housemanwho each scored 12 points.
