Pleasantville Wrestling – 5 Wrestlers to State Tournament

The Pleasantville wrestlers opens up the state meet today in Des Moines with a record-tying five wrestlers taking the mat. David Ginger, Tasker Phillips, Josh Padellford, Logan Roodand, and Cass Lester all qualified for the individual state tournamentand coach Jason Anthony is proud of his teams hard work and knows that all of the time put in will not only pay off this week but further down the road as well. Pleasantville also qualified five wrestlers in 1985 and again in 1996. The Trojans also qualified for the State team duals which will be held in Cedar Rapids next Saturday where they will take on second seed Belle Plaine.
