State Wrestling Tournament Underway

The State Wrestling Tournament is underway at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The afternoon started with class three-A as Knoxville’s Lane Coldwell lost to Matt Fontana of Ankeny by a pin in his first round match. He was sent to the consolation round where he fell to Chris Hoskins of Keokuk by a pin. Coldwells season is over as he was eliminated for competition after the consolation round loss. Pellas A-J Arrendell won his first round match over Joe Rasmussen of Ankeny ten-to-threehe will take on David Solis of Iowa City West this afternoon.
