A 41-year-old Knoxville resident pled guilty to being a felon in possession of firearms yesterday, according to United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. He says that Daniel Lawrence Fisher could receive to up to 10 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine, among other penalties. Fisher was arrested on gun and drug charges in September 2009, after an investigation by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, South Central Iowa Drug Task Force, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
