The Marion County Board of Supervisors is set to discuss and take action on several changes to county environmental health regulations during their meeting at 9:30 in the Marion County Courthouse. Some of the regulations include an ordinance to define and regulate environmental health hazards and nuisances, as well as implementing state standards for non-public water, among others.
School Board to hold budget hearing
The Pella School Board will hold a public hearing on the budget for the 2009-2010 school year at their meeting today. Another item on the agenda is consideration of an athletic facility improvement project. If approved, a public hearing would be scheduled for May 11. The Pella School Board meets at 4:30 p.m. at the Administration Office.
School to consider budget and discuss physical plant projects
The Knoxville School Board is set to approve the district’s 2009-10 school budget at their meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the administration building.
