The Knoxville City Council approved a budget amendment for the current fiscal year at a special meeting Tuesday.  City Manager Dick Schrad says the amendment included bond and interest payments not previously budgeted, increases in nuisance abatement costs, and an increase in maintenance costs in city facilities, among other issues.
