The current job market has college students being more creative with their job searches. Pat Joachim Kitzman is the director of the career center at Central College. She says in this job market it’s important for students to network and apply for a variety of occupations. Kitzman says they’ve already had some success stories. For instance, several students were hired as entry-level loan processors due to the amount of mortgages being refinanced. She adds that a couple of students have even taken positions abroad.
