Former Knoxville resident raises funds for hospice services in Africa

A Knoxville resident who moved to Ireland on a Knoxville Rotary Scholarship walked 360 miles across the state to support hospice services in Sub-Saharan Africa. Jennifer Tuite formerly Jennifer Blair, and her husband Michael raised $8500 during their journey, and were welcomed earlier his month by residents as part of their route took them through Knoxville. Donations for their walk can still be dropped off at the Knoxville Hospice of Central Iowa office at 213 E Main Street.
