A 40-year-old Marion County resident was sentenced to up to 5 years in prison on charges of extortion and to up to 2 years for driving while barred.  Court documents report the jail-time for Shannon Wayne Krivanek will be served consecutively.  In January Krivanek was charged with kidnapping in the second degree, among other charges.
