Nation ponders health care reform

As the federal government proposes health care reform on the national level, it’s important for area residents to talk with their insurance agents for plans which are specific to their needs.  That’s according to Megan McKay Ziller, vice president of McKay Insurance Agency in Knoxville.  She says although the federal proposal does offer attractive aspects, such as guaranteed care for all Americans, some parts, like having health insurance “connector” which allows people to compare different plans, raises concern because it doesn’t have the personal-relationship of an insurance agent.  McKay Ziller also says it’s less costly for residents when they make good lifestyle choices and stay healthy.
