The high winds from Tuesday’s thunderstorm were felt at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, causing damage to the roof of the county Law Enforcement Center.  Officials from the Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Supervisors and other personnel assessed the situation, and the insurance company has been contacted.  Marion County Sheriff Ron Goemaat says repairs began Tuesday to the roof, and county insurance is expected to cover all repair costs.
