It did not take long for Coach Steve Tyler to get enthused about the Central College womens tennis squad. Tyler was named head mens and womens tennis coach in January and liked what he saw from the teams spring limited workouts. Four of the six varsity singles players are back from a ten/eight-and-one squad that placed third in the league last year. He says Luther and Coe are expected to battle for the top spot in the Iowa Conference but he feels Central is again a solid contender for third.
