The Athletic facilities in the Knoxville school district continue to be improved. That’s according to Randy Wilson, the district’s athletic director. He says adding a new scoreboard to Ken Locke Stadium and improving the stadium’s entryway are two improvements set before the football season kicks off later this month. Wilson adds a new entrance to the press box at Ken Locke Stadium will also add to the area’s accessibility. In related news, Wilson says work on the new dugouts at the baseball field continues, and new concrete and gating at the Randy Wilson Track are other new improvements awaiting fans and residents this year.
