A Knoxville resident was approved for a $50,000 state loan, part of a state-wide effort to promote economic growth. Governor Culver’s Office tells KNIA/KRLS News that Jeannie Everly’s business, Arden Lighting Group LLC, was awarded the Targeted Small Business loan, which is at 2% interest for 5 years. The award was recommended by the Loan Review Committee for women, minority or persons with disabilities-owned businesses.
