Terry McCarl won his 47th career race at the Knoxville Raceway Saturday night in the 410 class as he took the lead from Rager Phillips on a restart and was never challenged.  Johnny Herrera took second place, that coupled with Brian Brown’s fifth place finish gives Herrera an unofficial 101 point lead going into the final points race of the season this Saturday, points do not become official until the close of business today.  Also, Dustin Selvage won the 360 with only half a top wing.  His right top wing sideboard came apart on the white flag lap and a portion of it stuck flagman Justin Clarke.  The race was stopped for a few minutes as Clark was able to get his bearings and continue.  Matt Stevenson won the 305 feature race, that was his second win of the season at Knoxville.  In related news, following the 305 race driver Wayne Redmond of Fort Dodge suffered a non-race related medical condition.  He was transported to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics.  His condition has not been released at this time, KNIA/KRLS will give you more information when it becomes official.
