P-C-M cross country will look to repeat their 2008 success as the Mustangs were runners-up in 2A in boys cross country. Prairie City-Monroe has a new cross country coach in Ashley Wrich who has served as an assistant with the girls track team last season. It will be the first year P-C-M will have a full girls cross country team. Wrich is encouraged by the enthusiasm and work ethic her team has shown towards continuing the success from last season.
