The Pella Food Shelf is officially moved to their new location on the east side of town. Director JoNes VanHecke tells KNIA/KRLS News the move took place earlier this week after months of planning. VanHecke says the hours of operation will remain the same as before: Tuesday mornings from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The new location of the Food Shelf is in the new Peace Lutheran Church at 1000 Vermeer Road East, and will officially resume operation this coming Tuesday.
