After thoughtful debate, the Pella City Council approved to apply to be a pass-through or overnight host site for RAGBRAI 2010 during Tuesday night’s policy and planning portion of the City Council meeting. Prompting the decision to pursue the opportunity to host the popular bicycle ride was the belief that the potential benefits to the Pella community would far outweigh any possible negatives.
