The second part in a series on end-of-life considerations is being held Monday evening at the Pella Public Library. As part of the “Dying Well” series, author and nurse Joyce Hutchison will read from her book May I Walk You Home, and present personal and practical insights on caring for those who are dying. Library Director Wendy Street tells KNIA/KRLS News that discussion on the book and the topics it covers will follow the author’s readings. The “Dying Well” program is a collaborative effort between the library, Pella Regional Health Center, and Hospice of Pella. The event is open to the public and will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the meeting room of the Pella Public Library.
