Knoxville took home the boys portion of the P-C-M Cross Country Invitational last night in Monroe. The Panthers had three runners in the top three led by Jamie Vander Veer in third place as six of the seven varsity runners had personal best times. Alex Edwards was fourth and Timothy Shepherd was seventh. Pella Christian finished fourth led by Skler Giddings sixth place finish. P-C-M was third lead by Jake Potter’s second place finish, Pleasantville was seventh lead by Brian Koreselman’s eighth place finish, Twin Cedars did not have a complete team. On the girls side, Knoxville scored a close runner-up finish to Durant. The Panthers were lead by Jessica Fresh as she came across the line in fifth. Melcher-Dallas’s Delaney Jensen running for Pleasantville this season won the varsity girls race and helped the Trojanns to a fifth place finish. Pella Christian finished seventh led by Kim Van Zee who finished 14th.
