Park Rangers at Lake Red Rock are hosting an opportunity this weekend to tag Monarch butterflies that may be tracked by researchers as they migrate to Mexico. Park Ranger Tracy Spry says those who wish to participate should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes as the group will be walking through tall grass to catch the unique butterflies. The Monarch tagging event will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the South Tailwater Park. Anyone with questions can call 628-8690.
