William Jewell College won a pair of tiebreakers and pulled out a 6-3 victory over the Central College women’s tennis squad in a lengthy match yesterday. Meanwhile the Dutch men scored victories in two of three doubles matches but were swept in singles in a 7-2 defeat. Both Central teams take on another NAIA club Saturday, meeting St. Ambrose at 1 p.m. at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex courts in Pella.
