Central College rolls into the Iowa Conference football season with a head of steam after upsetting seventh ranked Wisconsin-Stevens Point 22-to-21 Saturday afternoon on a touchdown that came with just over a minute remaining on a fourth and goal inside the one yard line. The nation also took note as Central vaulted from 25th to 16th in this week’s D-three football dot com rankings. It was quarterback Nate Snead’s running that rallied the Dutch from an 11-point deficit in the game’s final six minutes. Snead finished with 90 yards rushing…including 84 yards on 19 second-half carries with three touchdowns.    Central is two-and-oh and opens Iowa Conference play on the road Saturday, traveling to the University of Dubuque, you can hear the broadcast live on 92-point-one KRLS at one.
