The scenario was a familiar one for the Central College men’s soccer team as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at Macalester College last night. It was the third straight 1-0 game and the fourth in six games this season for the Dutch who are now 3-3. Central held a 13-6 shot advantage in the first half and 19-16 overall but Macalester scored the game’s only goal in the 59th minute. Central remains in the Twin Cities for the weekend, going up against Hamline Sunday in St. Paul at noon.
