A homegrown standout on the Central College defense is the Iowa Conference football defensive player of the week. Junior Aaron Steenhoek of Pella had six tackles, including 2.5 sacks in Central’s 24-6 victory over Coe College on Saturday. In all, Steenhoek tallied 3.5 tackles for a loss, which totaled 28 yards. In the win, the Dutch held the Kohawks to just 10 yards rushing and 199 yards of total offense.
