In Pella’s 40-7 Homecoming win against Chariton on Friday night, the Little Dutch were able to find offensive success using a lot of different players in several positions. Pella Head Football Coach Jay McKinstrey says it was his goal going in to allow several players a chance to play in the first half. “It was great to see some kids get on the field and be able to do some things and hopefully utilize their skills,” McKinstrey added. In all, eleven players for the Little Dutch caught, passed, or ran with the football in the game. The defense also provided several opportunities as well, as eighteen players registered at least one tackle.
