Four varsity programs started off the fall season Tuesday for Central College. In men’s soccer, a goal in the 80th minute gave the Dutch a 1-0 win over Grinnell College. The women’s soccer team, meanwhile, lost a 2-1 heartbreaker to Nebraska Wesleyan. Central’s volleyball team was swept 3-0 Tuesday by Grand View College, and the women’s tennis team was able to sweep doubles play and hold on for a 5-4 win at Cornell College.
