It’s certainly starting to feel more like fall, and to celebrate the season, a family-oriented event has been planned for this weekend near Pella. The “Family Fun Fall Fest” will include hay rack rides, wheelbarrow races, face painting, carnival games, and many other fall-themed activities. The event is being sponsored by the First Reformed Church of Pella, and will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Tim and Sharon Van Roekel farm just south of Pella on Illinois Street.
