The City of Pella began their bi-annual hydrant flushing maintenance Monday, and will continue the work through the remainder of the week. During this time, residents may experience cloudy water in your homes. This is not harmful and should clear up after running the cold tap for a short time. It is, however, recommended that residents not wash laundry, particularly whites, as the cloudy water may discolor clothing. The Public Works office is offering “RoVer” for free at their location at 100 Truman Road. “RoVer” is an additive that can be run with laundry to help remove discoloration.
