The Knoxville City Council will have public hearings and consider the contract adoptions for the 2009 East Competine Reconstruction and Newbold Drive Sanitary Sewer Extension projects tonight. The council will also consider adopting ordinances establishing Park and Cemetery advisory commissions, among other issues. Due to Labor Day, the city council meets tonight at 6:15 p.m. in city hall.
