A 24-year-old Knoxville resident was charged with Conspiracy to manufacture over 5 grams of a Schedule II controlled substance- Methamphetamine. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office says Jason Ryan Ross Horn is also charged with possession of lithium as a precursor and pseudoephedrine as a precursor.

On Monday, law Enforcement with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol and the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force stopped Horn in a vehicle north of Knoxville, where he was wanted out of Marion County on a valid pick-up order. Officers searched Horn, finding lithium batteries, plastic tubing, ground pseudoephedrine and coffee filters. Horn also was in possession of prescription pills without a valid prescription and possession of Methamphetamine “Ice” as well as drug paraphernalia.

This case remains under investigation by both the South Central Iowa Drug Task Force and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office with further charges pending.
