Knoxville has been awarded a class three-A District/Regional Cross Country Meet this fall. The meet will be held at the Pine Knolls Country Club and will bring in six-to-seven other area three-A teams. Knoxville Boys Coach Mike Moats says this is an opportunity to show off the town of Knoxville and attributes the success of the Panther Invitational to Knoxville getting a postseason meet…The District/Regional meet is scheduled for October 22nd. The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Girls Union have not released the team District/Regional assignments assigning teams.
