There hasn’t been too much rain in Iowa the past few weeks, but the dry weather won’t be damaging to Marion County’s corn and soybean crop. County ISU Extension Education Director Dale Miller tells KNIA/KRLS News that it’s been a cool, wet summer overall, and the sub-moisture will keep plants hydrated. Miller says he hopes for more sunny weather and a late frost – both which will buy time for the crops to mature.
