Many of the graduates of Marion County High Schools are choosing to continue their educations at community colleges close to home; evident by data from both Des Moines Area Community College and Indian Hills Community College. Joe Dehart, assistant to the President at DMACC tells KNIA/KRLS News that 552 students with Marion County addresses are enrolled this fall; while Kevin Pink, Director of Media and Public Relations at Indian Hills says there are 203 students from Marion County enrolled in a record student body of over 5,100 this fall between their three campus locations.
