The official numbers are in, and Central College has announced this year’s first-year class as their third-largest freshman class ever – and the largest since the 1980s. 443 new students are enrolled for the fall semester, topping the 2004 freshmen enrollment by one. Central’s all-time high for freshmen came in 1987 when 505 students reported.
