The Marion County Conservation Board and Theisen’s Home, Farm and Auto in Pella are teaming up to provide an educational opportunity this weekend to help prepare hunters and outdoor sportsmen and women for the fall seasons. Iowa Department of Natural Resources Officers will be available to answer questions on topics such as game laws and non-toxic ammunition. Kay Neumann, a falconer, researcher, and rehabilitator will also be available to discuss the awareness of lead in our environment and how it impacts wildlife. Neumann will also be bringing with her an American Bald Eagle, Peregrine Falcon and an Osprey. The educational opportunity is free and open to the public; and will be held Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Theisen’s on East Oskaloosa Street in Pella.
