For the third time this season and the seventh time of her young career, Central College sophomore Sarah Paulson has been named the Iowa Conference women’s golfer of the week. Paulson is the leader at the midpoint of the 72-hole conference tournament. She broke the league tourney and school 36-hole scoring record, firing 145 on the par-72 Pheasant Ridge Golf Course Friday and Saturday and leads the field by three shots. Paulson is the defending tournament champion. Central trails Wartburg by two strokes heading into the final 36 holes Friday and Saturday at the Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah.
