A clerical error made last fall led PCM Schools to a $309,000 funding deficit. PCM School Superintendent Jane Babcock tells KNIA/KRLS News that the deficit has been temporarily covered through an extension of the district’s spending authority by the State Department of Education, which works like a credit card. The PCM School District is currently working with the State to establish a plan to re-coup lost revenues before the 2010-2011 school year.
