Pella Christian looks to build off their exciting win last Friday when they travel to Pleasantville for the Trojans homecoming Friday night. The Eagles held on to win a hard fought back and forth game 39-36 over Des Moines Christian last Friday scoring the winning touchdown on a long drive late in the fourth quarter with great execution and clock management. Coach Rich Kacmarynski credited his quarterback Kyle Nikkel and the entire offensive line for the success of that drive. He says the offensive line was able to control the line of scrimmage all night and made great improvements. He also notes that last week the Eagles did a better job not turning the ball over and scoring when they had opportunities and says that’s the kind of play he hopes to see for all four quarters at Pleasantville Friday night. You can hear Friday’s game broadcast live on 92.1 FM KRLS with Jamie Brockman and Larry Hessing starting with the pre game at 6:30pm and kickoff at 7pm. It will also be streamed live on kniakrls.com
