Pella Corporation is cutting over three dozen workers from an operations office in northwest Iowa. Pella Corporation spokeswoman Kathy Krafka-Harkema tells KNIA/KRLS News 37 full-time manufacturing positions are being cut from the corporation’s workforce in Sioux Center effective Friday. Krafka-Harkema adds that despite the cuts and the overall condition of the housing market, plans are to continue to operate all of the company’s facilities around the state, and says there are currently no cuts planned at the corporation’s headquarters in Pella.
