The Pella girls cross country team finished 11th out of 16 teams at the Des Moines Roosovelt Invitational yesterday which was actually held at Central College. Victoria Kleven finished 34th and Heidi Schulte was 37th. The boys finished 8th out of 18 teams led by Zach Wittenberg in 4th and Zach Buchheit was 19th. The meet featured teams from around Iowa and surrounding states and Coach Doug Cutler says he was very pleased with their performances, especially the boys who beat several 4A schools.
