It’s Homecoming this week at Pella High School. The 2009 King and Queen coronation will take place shortly before noon Monday, with the royalty to lead homecoming activities for the remainder of the week. Candidates for King are Ben Fessler, Jared Gerber, Nathan Buchheit, Ben Muller, Blaine Forsythe and Richie Bales. Brooke Kane, Hannah Forsythe, Chelsea Byers, Monique Meck, Maria Mate-Kodjo, and Jordyn Vande Lune are this year’s Homecoming Queen candidates. Pella plays Chariton in the Homecoming football game, with the Homecoming court introduced during halftime of the game on Friday night.
