A Pella native was tabbed as Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week for the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for his accomplishments last week. Bret VanderStreek of Pella scored three goals in two games last week for Gustavus Adolphus in the winning efforts, including a victory for the Gusties over the defending Minnesota Conference champions. Gustavus Adolphus is currently 2-0 MIAC and 4-1-2 overall.
