One of at least a half dozen Republicans interested in running for governor in 2010 made a stop in Pella this week. Rod Roberts is a state representative from Carroll who is currently serving his fifth term in the Iowa House. Roberts tells KNIA/KRLS News his key priorities as a gubernatorial candidate are to provide effective leadership for the state and to return the position to its roots of serving the people of Iowa. Rod Roberts lives in Carroll and serves as a Development Director for Christian Churches/Churches of Christ in Iowa.
