Earlier this week, the report of five female students being strip-searched by an administrator at a southwest Iowa school sparked plenty of discussion amongst area school administrators. Pella Schools Superintendent Mark Wittmer says the state policy against such searches in very clear. Knoxville Schools Superintendent Randy Flack tells KNIA/KRLS they have a similar policy in place, though there have been very few instances where they have needed to conduct a search.
