There are still a few “first come, first served” spots left for “Paint the Park 2009” going on Saturday in Pella’s West Market Park. A $25 registration fee gets participants all of the paint and supplies they will need and a four-by-four foot square of sidewalk to transform into their canvas; turning the park into an outdoor gallery. “Paint the Park 2009” is sponsored by the Pella Community Art Center and starts at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning at West Market Park in Pella.
