Vandalism Doesn’t Stop Knoxville’s School Spirit

The fate of the 2009 Knoxville Homecoming Parade was temporarily put in jeopardy Wednesday, following vandalism at the high school. Oil, syrup, ketchup, mustard, egg-substance, flour and other materials were smeared on almost all the school benches, windows, and sidewalks. The school is not investigating the incident. Parents and residents stood watch that night for any suspicious activity, and hundreds of alumni, residents and students showed their school spirit during the community pep-rally and football game later in the week.
